Congratulations on being featured. I'm also a writer and an avid reader. I'd love to have you visit A Penny and Change and A Penny's Worth when you have a moment. If you go back to the website on the Penny's Worth, there are some articles on writing and photography too. Good luck on your writing!
Its not just for women in trouble its for any women who just needs to talk, have someone listen to her, for support. There are alot of women out there who don't have anyone, or no one to believe in them. Sometimes we just need a place where we're excepted and cared for. Not that I want this to be all flower and fake thing. I want it to e real, bitch if you need to, cry, show your true feelings. When my daughter Gloria was fourteen she was raped, it was/is a horrible thing that doesn't just effect the one raped. Of course I got her help, she still in therapy, we went to family therapy too. I thought I was OK(she was raped in December of2010) By October last year I started to fall apart, I think it was because I held it all together for so long and finally I just kind of lost it. I needed someone to talk to, my friends couldn't really help-they lean on me. And every where I went for help they just wanted me to be my normal happy self.
I needed a place where I could say what I was feeling without be judged. It's why I started blogging, but really that wasn't enough.
Sorry, this is more than you ever wanted to know about me!
Knotty, Its not just for women in trouble it's for any women who needs to talk, or needs support. What do you write about? And I am on twitter but honestly it doesn't seem like it's any big deal to me.
I like chocolate when I'm on my period. I use to love food, now I'm having a hard time just eating once a day- but I'm getting better! I just had to realize I can only do so much in day,and that I will get to everything. We women are so hard on ourselves sometimes, which is why I'm setting up a women's group. We need to support each other, life is hard enough.
You don't have to beg I'll give the recipe, would have earlier but didn't write it down that you want it and I'm forgetful lately(if I would remember to eat and take my vitamins!)This is the easiest thing If you bake from scratch make your basic chocolate cake( I use to make everything by scratch, everything but something has to give until I figure out how to clone myself)I buy a dark chocolate cake mix, follow the directions, when it's baked and still warm poke holes in the cake pour hot fudge sauce over(depending how thick you like it 2 to 4 jars and how big you make the cake I make two at once (teenagers). after it cools completely and right before you serve it put cool whip as the icing and dribble chocolate syrup on it (again depending on the hot fudge sauce I usually warm it up too) I also make this with yellow cake and butterscotch. My kids don't like Icing. See really simple, I don't have time to spend hours in the kitchen anymore. I hope you can understand my directions.
