I couldn’t let another day go by without sharing about this past weekend because it was a gooder! The annual Interior Design Show took place at the Vancouver Convention Centre and once again, they outdid themselves. Imagine a huge room filled with all sorts of amazing lights, cabinets, furnishings, art pieces in all of its west coast glory. I was so creatively inspired. It truly was an amazing weekend and I loved getting to spend it with a few of my interior blogging friends.
The highlight of the entire show without a doubt was the kitchen that Kelly Deck/Aya Kitchens designed. It left us all speechless, which, I might add is not an easy task to a group of blogger women. As you can see, it was a work of art. I have to admit that as thankful as I am with my own home I sure was coveting this kitchen in a big way.
One day marble, gold range hood/faucets and pendant lighting… you will be mine!! one day.
MOVING ON ![]()
Then came Saturday. The night I had been counting down to for a while – our annual BLEND event (sponsored by IKEA Canada) where our network of west coast interior design bloggers get together to connect. I may be biased but I’m pretty convinced that we have some of the most outgoing and encouraging ladies that blog here in the west coast of Canada. It was so nice to actually meet the face behind the blog. The biggest surprise of course were the guests of honour – Tommy Smythe, Susan Dimma and Mark Challen!! (eeek!!!!)
oh, and this happened…. and it made my night!! Interior design genius Tommy Smythe, surrounded by dozens of adoring blogger fans who were hanging on his every word. This guy is hilarious!
So much fun that was had and I can’t wait for next year!! Big thanks to the crew at IDSWest, IKEA Canada, Barbara, Nancy, Victoria and Karla. It was a weekend to remember ![]()
