Tom Violet is the 35 year old son of the famous novelist and bon vivant, Curtis Violet, who has just won a Pulitzer Prize. He has lived in his free-wheeling father’s shadow all of his life and it has made him very insecure. It probably doesn’t help that his dad still calls him Tommy.
