Toddler Boys and Pregnant Bellies Don't Mix!

I love my son dearly. But sometimes I have to really really hold my breathe because he really really tries my patience. We all know toddler boys love to wrestle and be physically active. I get that and if this mom could do it at 5 months pregnant, I would, but now I have to teach my toddler son to be gentle around the baby bump. He's not really comprehending yet that there is a baby in there. Hunky Hubs and I talk about it and we've shown him pictures of mommy when she was pregnant with him and we tell him there is a baby in there, and he kisses my belly, but I don't think he really gets that means he has to be gentle.

Aww, it really must be so confusing to the little ones. I'm pregnant (early on -8 weeks), and my son who's five is also quite energetic and has been politely told a few times to be careful. I thought it would be easier explaining and him understanding, the further along the pregnancy I got because of the bump. Maybe not :-S.

I wish you all the best during your pregnancy :-)
