- A little something you might like to know about me is:
- I am a mom of two young kids, a one-year-old boy and four-year-old girl. I work as a nurse but I've recently reduced my schedule down to about once a month so that I can be home with my kids. I am married to the most gracious and wonderful man on the planet and I love to spend time with my family. I also love to cook (and eat!), shop, travel, read, write, and I volunteer time to help others. I'm a huge sports fan.
I have always had a love of writing. In elementary school, I would write short stories for my classmates to read, and they would beg me to write more. For me this blog is a passion and natural progression from that early experience with writing. I love to experiment with different food ideas--and share those with my family and friends. My weekends often involve an informal gathering with my family and good friends to enjoy my cooking. Other than that, give me a cute pair of shoes and a handbag--especially at a bargain--and I'm happy!
