Our fascination with serial killers

Whenever people ask me what my mystery novel, Mixed Messages, is about and I say the words "serial killer," their eyes light up. I know why I'm fascinated with the subject but I'm curious as to what…Continue

I blog about:
A little something you might like to know about me is:
I live in Cincinnati, Ohio and I write the Malone Mystery series. "Mixed Messages," "Unfinished Business," "Desperate Deeds" and "Mistaken Identity" were published by Post Mortem Press and are available on Amazon, B&N and at postmortem-press.com.
When I'm not reading or writing, I love to travel, especially to the ocean. I also enjoy going to yard sales, estate sales and flea markets where you never know what treasures you'll find - it's a mystery.

The Malone Mysteries:

In "Mixed Messages," the first novel in my Malone mystery series, a serial killer is on the loose in Westwood. Is it someone close to Ann? With all the mixed messages she's been getting, she can't be sure it's not.

In "Unfinished Business," the sequel, the Westwood Strangler is dead. Or so everyone believes.

In "Desperate Deeds," Ann's world is about to be turned upside down when she discovers that her young son has gone missing.

In "Mistaken Identity," Ann's idyllic vacation takes an unexpected turn when she discovers the body of a young woman on the beach.

My mystery/suspense novel, Mixed Messages, takes place the last week of October, which, of course, includes Halloween. As I was doing research for the book, I discovered some interesting facts about the combination secular and…

It takes a village

For the past few weeks, whenever I had the chance, I've been working on a book trailer for my mystery novel, Mixed Messages, and I've finally completed it.

I'd never done a trailer before and, let me tell you, creating it was both frustrating and fun. I can laugh now when I think about how many times my…

What kind of reader are you?

Posted on June 7, 2012 at 7:59am 0 Comments

I’ve always been an avid reader but I’ve found that, through the years, my reading habits have changed. When I was a little girl and a teenager, I used to start a book and, if it drew me in, I’d read every spare minute until I’d finished it – day and/or night. I haven’t done that for many years because some things changed.…
