I have to admit I'm mostly a night owl blogger! And when I say night owl I mean up until 2 or 3 night owl! I feel bad when my kids are home and I'm always on my computer! There are times when they are busy with Dad or playing and I will jump on the computer but mostly I TRY to blog at night! It was hard finding a balance between my day time job, my online business, my kids, blogging, and life in general- laundry and all that not very fun stuff, lol! How about you? Having kids, when do you fit blogging in?

Emily, I can pretty much cut and paste your response.  I do exactly the same thing.  I'm a sneaky blogging mom...the kids are asleep, the kids at at a friend's house or the kids are busy with Dad.  It is so important for me to interact with them outside of this electronic world that consumes us (they give me my best material)!

I have to agree with Crissa... that could've been word for word for me too. LOL I'm trying NOT to be up past 1am anymore..really would like to get on schedule not later than 11pm, but so far... it's not happening. :( I also work outside the home, do side jobs at home (fixing computers for family and friends), run my blog (cut down from four) and topsite, and take care of the 4 of my 5 kiddos that are still home... in between babysitting occasionally for my granddaughters.

I know it helps me to write EVERYTHING down! I have to keep an agenda, and an online schedule or I will never remember everything I have to do. I totally love blogging, but it can take alot out of you too.

See!!!  You are not alone.  It's so nice to hear other's people "chaos" and know that I'm not alone.  Thanks for joining.
LOL True.. misery loves company. hehe
I know is very difficult but i make sure i blog only when my kids are not around or in the night when am fully sure the are fast asleep.

Tree,

I had to laugh because every night I say: this is it tonight I'm going to bed by 11:00. Well, right now it's 2:00 am! Guess that tells you how thats working out for me! And as for being organized my husband bought me this HUGE white board, not kidding because I had little notes all over the place in addition to about 4 notebooks because I to have to write EVERYTHING down or else I will forget! So now I just write all over that, my little notes and my 4 notebooks, lol!

How many blogs do you have now?

I do the same thing. LOL I could use one of those boards too. I did have 4 blogs, but had to cut down to one when I started doing reviews/giveaways.  Couldn't keep up with the others. I will probably be reopening my "weight loss" blog after my gastric surgery next month to document my progress and share my ups and downs. I still have my Mommies Faves voting topsite too, but gave up my design blog and my Mommies Faves blog.

It definitely is a hard balance!

I have 2 kids, 1 in school part time and 1 at home full time.

I blog during the day and at night.  My hubby gives me a hard time about the night time blogging, but that is when I get the interrupted time!

It's hard, it's just plain had.

Lots of juggling!

That's a great idea about the notes, Melissa.  I found a great app I use on my iPad (also for the iPhone), it's called Day One.  It's a journal logging application that makes it easy to log your thoughts.  You can e-mail your entries too.  I also carry an old-fashioned little notebook in my purse to jot quick things I see or think I may want to blog about.  Thanks for your input!

For now, I blog mostly during nap time.  Sometimes at night once my son is asleep, but that's usually time for my husband and I.  And I fit a few minutes in here and there.  It's always a juggling act with all the other things I have to get done!
See mine doesn't complain about the night time blogging because he gets to play vedio games for hours without me bugging him, lol!

I think it's funny that several of us have whiteboards for out To Do's, including me.  I think it helps to schedule out when I'm going to do stuff, so it's not so overwhelming.  (Clean the bathroom on Monday, vacuum  on Tuesday...Instead of just a giant list of things to do.)  I'd love to figure out a way to post even three times a week--it's usually one for me.  I blog when my toddler's napping (nap times are getting shorter!  Oh, no!) and when she's to bed at night.  I try and not stay up too late working on my blog, but it's really hard.
